flood is a fresh graphic design studio from Sydney Australia, founded mid 2008 by partners in crime Aaron Kuswara & Daniel Dittmar.
We love to pedal design and propaganda across a variety of practice including branding, print media, photography, environmental/spacial, and the occasional affair with web. The common factor being a strong aesthetic and an innovative approach.

We’re brimming with ideas for execution, and ready to jump into the deep end.
Please contact us if you have a job in mind. We'd love to collaborate with you.

Switch, for Paul Strange Presents @ The Arthouse concept. identity. branding. promotions.

Switch is the branding and identity of a club night run out of The Arthouse by Paul Strange Presents. Our brief was to design with the notion that the music genre would ‘switch’ in the clubs main room from week to week. We came up with a simple but effective concept of playing with lighting and currents within the logo that would evolve from month to month. Feeling we could push the concept, we took it one step further by decking the space out with vintage lamps sourced from around Sydney that we coloured with the brandings signature Pantone Orange colour.

extra cheeese. art + design collective concept. identity. branding. web. promotions.

extra cheeese started as a project designed to break down the distinctions between artists & designers whilst also helping emerging Australian creatives. Encouragement of re–use within a creative context is also a key concept.
The project kicked off in ‘07 with contributors fashioning their individual style onto the inside of used pizza boxes. Stage Two launched in October ‘08, using a found object as the basis for a creative medium.
The site has just been rebranded and relaunched in 2009.
extra cheeese is an ongoing project.

The Fair Trading Company identity. branding. print.

The Fair Trading Company is all about its namesake, dealing in fair and ethical trade of high–quality consumer products. With the company’s focus on handcrafted products created by artisans with an ethical outlook, the branding that was developed reflects the business’ environmental focus.
A cohesive and organic design, from the typographic and colour elements that made up the logo right down to the 100% recycled off cuts that were used to print the job on.

jesuswalks branding. web. print. signage.

jesuswalks was a showcase for Australian artistic newcomers including Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander artists. We’re not the most religious pair, but this project embodied everything we think is great about supporting emerging creatives and helping the thriving art scene. With all proceeds going to charity too, it was something we supported wholeheartedly.
Using the idea of travel, we took the recognisable symbol of a highway double line and replicated it throughout the project as a running motif.
